​Tripp Ballard is a values based leader and entrepreneur. Tripp founded Bolivar Point Capital to acquire, lead, and grow one business for the long term.

​Most recently, Tripp was a strategic finance professional at Encino Energy, a leading E&P company focused on the prolific Utica shale play. He helped support corporate strategy through strategic finance and M&A opportunities. Before Encino, Tripp worked for over a decade in investing and finance roles, including roles with KPMG, Stephens Investment Bank, and KKR in Dallas, TX and Houston, TX.

Tripp lives in Houston with his wife and daughter where he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and supporting the Houston Astros in his free time. He received a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Rice University.
